The name of this organization shall be MASHOUT Car Club, hereafter referred to as "the Club."
The purpose of the Club is to unite car enthusiasts who share a passion for car culture and motorsports while promoting a positive, respectful, and inclusive community.
The Club is committed to fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and mutual support among members both within and beyond Club events.
Membership is open to anyone who shares the Club’s values, agrees to comply with these bylaws, and is willing to pay the required dues (if applicable). Applications can be found on our website, or you may contact a current member for assistance.
Active Member: A member in good standing who regularly participates in events and meetings.
Honorary Member: An individual recognized for significant contributions to the car community or the Club, granted membership without dues.
All members must pay annual dues to maintain active status.
Dues will be set by the Executive Board and reviewed annually.
For the year 2025, there are no dues. This will be reviewed at the beginning of 2026.
The Executive Board shall consist of the following positions:
President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
Event Coordinator (optional)
Social Media Manager
Sponsorship & Business Relations Coordinator
Member Conduct Liaison (Resident Asshole)
President: Leads the Club, presides over meetings, and publicly represents the Club.
Vice President: Assists the President and assumes leadership in their absence.
Secretary: Maintains records, tracks membership, and handles Club communications.
Treasurer: Manages Club finances, collects dues, and keeps financial records.
Event Coordinator: Plans and manages Club events.
Social Media Manager: Oversees the Club’s online presence, creates content, and promotes events.
Sponsorship & Business Relations Coordinator: Develops partnerships and seeks discounts for members.
Member Conduct Liaison (Resident Asshole): Enforces Club rules, handles disputes, and addresses conduct issues.
The President’s position is not subject to regular elections. A successor will be chosen by the current President and vetted by the members when the time comes to ensure the Club’s vision and legacy continue.
All other officers will be elected annually by the membership.
Regular Club meetings will begin in early 2026 (details to follow).
Members are encouraged to attend to stay informed and participate in decision-making.
Members unable to attend must notify the Secretary to receive meeting notes.
If a vote is required and a member cannot attend, they may submit their vote to two officers. Both officers must be made aware of each other to confirm the vote’s integrity.
Members must always act respectfully and professionally, especially when representing the Club.
Members must treat each other, guests, and the public with courtesy.
Zero Tolerance:
Sexual harassment and discrimination will result in immediate suspension and removal from Club events pending review.
Physical altercations will result in immediate suspension pending review.
Members must wear seatbelts during cruises and helmets when riding motorcycles.
Illegal activities such as street takeovers, reckless driving, or behavior that tarnishes the Club’s reputation (especially when displaying Club logos) are strictly prohibited.
Substance abuse is not permitted. Responsible drinking is allowed, but members must remain in control at all times.
Any member found intoxicated will be provided safe transportation.
All event votes must be based on merit, not favoritism.
Vote rigging or manipulation is strictly prohibited.
All zero-tolerance violations will be handled consistently, with immediate removal from the event.
Officers may encourage but cannot require members to file police reports.
Investigations will be conducted promptly and fairly by an impartial panel.
In cases of sexual harassment, the Club will prioritize the complainant’s safety, privacy, and comfort before taking any action that could jeopardize their well-being.
If the violation is clear and undisputed, the offender may be immediately and permanently removed without further investigation.
Disciplinary actions may include warnings, probation, suspension, or removal from the Club.
No refunds will be provided for membership termination.
Removed members must strip Club logos from their vehicles, clothing, and social media within 14 days.
Members who violate the zero-tolerance policy are permanently banned from all MASHOUT events.
Members should first attempt to resolve disputes privately.
If unresolved, the Executive Board will mediate and issue a final decision.
Members must comply with the Executive Board’s ruling.
Members may resign by providing written notice to the Secretary.
No refunds will be given upon resignation.
Former members must remove Club logos within 14 days.
Former members may attend Club events but cannot represent the Club or participate in voting or judging at Club-hosted events.
All photos, videos, and media created for or by the Club may be used indefinitely for promotional purposes.
Tagging the Club in media implies consent for the Club to use that media while the person is a member. Credit will be given to the creator.
Former members cannot restrict the Club’s use of existing media.
The MASHOUT name, logo, and branding are exclusive Club property.
No member may create, sell, or alter branded merchandise without written approval from the Executive Board.
Unauthorized use will result in disciplinary action.
Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited at all Club events.
Excessive alcohol use is not permitted; members must drink responsibly.
The Club will assist in arranging safe transportation for intoxicated members.
Repeated violations will result in disciplinary action.
Seatbelts and helmets (when applicable) are mandatory during events.
Members must follow all traffic laws and prioritize safety at all times.
Members are encouraged to support community service and mental health initiatives.
The Club is committed to promoting mental health awareness and fostering an environment free of stigma.
Members facing personal challenges are encouraged to reach out for support.
The Club will continue to host and support mental health-related events.
Members who violate the Code of Conduct may be placed on probation for up to 6 months.
Probation may limit participation in events.
Failure to comply may lead to suspension or permanent removal.
Current members may refer new potential members who align with the Club’s mission and values.
All referrals are subject to Executive Board approval.
MASHOUT Car Club is committed to inclusivity, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or other protected characteristics.
Discriminatory behavior will result in immediate removal from the Club.
To preserve the integrity of Club decision-making and prevent conflicts between personal interests and Club interests.
A conflict of interest exists when a member’s personal, professional, or financial interests could compromise their objectivity in Club matters.
All conflicts of interest must be disclosed immediately to the Executive Board.
Members involved in a conflict of interest must recuse themselves from related decisions.
All members and officers must sign an acknowledgment form confirming they understand this policy.
Failure to disclose a conflict may result in removal from office or the Club.
The Executive Board will periodically review this policy to ensure effectiveness.
